Project summary:
The project aimed to improve efficiency of heat supply in Sevastopol city and to improve ecological situation due to alternative energy sources usage (usage of low potential heat energy of marine water) and to reduce natural gas consumption.
The project envisaged the implementation of the modern energy complex, using gas-piston cogeneration facilities Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd. and heat pumps for provision of hot water and heat supply in Sevastopol city.
The project activities included the installation of:

3 modern gas-piston engines of combined cycle with the electrical capacity of 16.5 MW and with heat capacity of 14.1 MW;

the system of heat pumps with the total capacity of 37,5 MW;

subsidiary equipment.
The project was included to the list of projects for the primary implementation according to the direction of CMU № 609-r dated 20th May, 2009.
